No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and embeds no analytics, advertising or social media services. There is no profiling. Two things are stored in your browser: which language you chose (cw-lang) and that you closed the notice at the bottom of the page (cw-ck). Both stay on your device and are sent nowhere, and you can clear them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Every font, image and video on these pages is served from this domain, so opening them contacts no one else.
Server log files
When you open a page your browser transmits technically necessary data, which our host records in log files: IP address, time, the file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referrer and the browser identifier. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site securely. These data are not combined with any other source.

Booking a call
If you book a call on /book, we process what you enter there: your name, your email address, your hotel or property and, optionally, your phone number. The slot you chose and your time zone are added to that.
These details are used only to arrange and hold the call. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps taken at your request. The appointment is created as a calendar entry with a Google Meet link in the host’s Google Calendar; Google Ireland Limited processes the data as our processor in doing so, and Google sends the invitation to your email address.
The booking is deleted after [X] months unless it leads to a contract.
If you would rather not use the form, write to info@closewise.eu and we will arrange the call by email.
Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Write to info@closewise.eu.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, for Berlin the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
